I love the drum solo by Pete Phipps, founding member of the Glitter Band (with the Glittermen since June 1972, not invited by John Rossall). Big thanks to him still sharing the stage with John Springate, another founding member of the Glitter Band. Their performance, now with Dominic Rodgers and Rob Norman, is fantastic as always. There are more shows to come this year, like in Eastleigh and Brean.

For me they are not part of glam. The same for Mud, Bay City Rollers and those types of bands from the 70s, which for some reason were classified as glam despite not having any glam at all. There is nothing glam about them.

I used to be able to hit those notes in my 20s but at 51 my falsetto has dropped a bit!!!! Would still never get anywhere near this though even when I was young ! Brill performance

Alan lo canta muy bien , solo que el tiene una voz más dulce ,lo escuché cantar acapela. Y paul lo hace más alto también lo escuche hay un video donde canta cuando es joven a mis oidos ya parece ópera . Sin embargo en la voz de Williams suena dulce y amerita el sentido de la letra. Es cierto el falsete de paul es buenísimo 👏 pero a mi me gusta alan williams como lo canta. El también lo canta y a mi parecer le sienta bien por tener una voz dulce. Es mi opinión 😊😊❤

theire was lot to do around Paul da vinci alan williams Paul didnt get the credits he deserved. that is not fair. he desreves that. but alan is Just so good he was the face of the group. goodllooking charisma. he plays instruments etc. i realy dont no if Paul da vinci was the leadsinger of the group wood they have so much succes i dont no. for me no. but that is personal. i had a crush on alan not Paul.they worked together for yesrs i think they still do. more groups with the same name. but alan john Tony etc. are for me the real rubettes. but i wish everybody well. Paul to. but alan williams is my favorite nostalgia i never heard that Paul worked together with alan. i dont think so.

'Bet you wish you'd written that one!' Not really, I didn't even like it when I first heard it although I don't mind it now. The song I wish I'd written is 'The Living Years'. Actually Paul does a brilliant job on this.
